HTC has joined forces with HockeyOT.com

HockeyOT.com is an online hockey training application that was developed for the Edmonton Oilers by strength training specialist, Dr. Chad Moreau. HockeyOT.com generates custom tailored, in-season and off-season workouts based on your play level, goals and training experience. No matter what level hockey player you are, you can now train like the pros!

HockeyOT.com routines are generated to maximize the potential of each individual. Each exercise is explained using text, photographs and videos of NHL players. This ensures routines are performed to maximize results and prevent injury.

Personalized feedback, specific to each athlete, helps to measure growth as well as offer suggestions for areas of improvement. A nutrition plan designed to optimize performance is also available to every subscriber.

Click on the HockeyOT.com logo to visit their website to learn more about the program. HTC has negotiated a “league rate” for all HTC members who subscribe and will be hosting a HockeyOT Combine on Sunday March 14th. While visiting their website, be sure sign up for this FREE event, space is limited so pre-registration is encouraged.

     Why The Hockey Training Center?
Our main focus is our off ice training facility and program that can help build the skills and confidence to improve a player’s game and allow them to have more fun playing. We work on shooting, stick handling, plyometrics, balance and footwork as well as offering weights and hockey instructional videos. We understand the value of off ice training and receive great satisfaction in working with youth hockey players to improve their game. We recognize the value of transferring a player's off ice training onto the ice and offer several on ice programs.
    Why Skills Training?
A recent USA hockey study showed an average hockey player touched the puck for less than a minute in a game. Hardly enough time to feel the puck let alone develop their hockey skills. Skills are to be developed in practice and off ice training not by playing in games.
